Heavy-Load Material Transportation for a Vietnam Customer
Heavy manufacturing facilities frequently need to move tooling, machinery components, steel structures and other industrial loads between production, assembly and storage areas.
When transportation routes are not fixed, traditional rail transfer carts may limit flexibility and require additional infrastructure modification.
For this project, BECHUR supplied a 15-ton trackless electric transfer cart to a customer in Vietnam.
In addition to trackless travel, the vehicle was configured with a laser obstacle detection and avoidance system to provide additional protection when operating around personnel, equipment and other obstacles in industrial work areas.

BECHUR developed a customized 15-ton battery-powered trackless electric transfer cart according to the customer’s load and transportation requirements.
The vehicle can travel directly on suitable industrial floors without requiring embedded rails. This provides greater route flexibility when materials need to move between different production, assembly and storage areas.
A laser obstacle detection system is integrated into the vehicle to monitor the travel area ahead. When an obstacle enters the configured detection zone, the system can assist the vehicle’s safety control response according to the project configuration.
Combined with warning devices and emergency controls, this configuration provides an additional layer of protection for heavy-load transportation in active industrial environments.
